Mercedes-Benz has uncovered its new 2013 G-Class with some better upgrades compared to the existing G-Class off-roader. The interior of the new G-Class is a completely revised version of the outgoing G-Class model. This 30-year old off-roader from SUV Mercedes-Benz has contributed a lot to bring the G-Class at balance with some great premium saloons and off-roaders too. A glance at the upgrades will give a fair idea of how this next gen SUV will boost the Mercedes-Benz’s total volume sales.

The new version G-Class comes loaded with top-notch quality and well equipped interiors boasting a completely new instrument cluster and central console. The upholstery of the SUV is eye catching and incorporates a color screen between the two round shaped dials, Comand Online Infotainment system that includes a navigation system as standard comes with internet access, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a Linguatronic voice-operated control.

The original G-Class appeal is still maintained in the new version which continues to bear a grab rail for the front passenger and the three differential lock options’ switches highlighted in silver-contoured trim. In addition to this, the individualization options (customization) from the new design range are available as enhancements.

Although there are very subtle upgrades made on the exterior, these upgrades really add a lot to the overall look of the car. These external changes include new ORVMs, alloy wheels and new LED daytime running lights. These features have given an all new modern look to the off-roader. The AMG’s typically designed double louvered radiator grille and distinctive revised bumper with large air intakes very well depicts the off-roading nature of the SUV.

Safety features:

The SUV has attractive red brake calipers as one of the safety feature. Along with the standard safety features, the new G-Class also boasts optional extras like Parktronic, Blind Spot Assist and adaptive cruise control (Distronic Plus).
