New Range Rover Special Edition Models Introduced

Range Rover has introduced three new Special Edition models in the growing luxury car market as it celebrates 10^th anniversary of establishment. These new models are TDV8 Westminster, TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography.

February 7, 2012: With aim to expand its product portfolio in the luxury and high specifications, Range Rover went on to introduce its three new Special Edition models namely Range Rover Westminster Edition, the new Range Rover TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography. The new Range Rover Special Edition models are expected to go on sale  in the month of March.

The Range Rover Westminster Edition will be replacing the previous TDV8 Vogue and Vogue SE. This model is designed to look unique with the bright ‘Noble’ finish to the front grille and the flanks, silver lower splitter bar and fog lamps, 20-inch alloy wheels with 10-spokes each and the Westminster badge. The interior of the car sports luxury carpets and grand black polish trim components and the bright-finished pedal finisher providing refreshing and airy cabin. The front seats posses both heating and cooling functions and the in-car entertainment system with 19-speakers boosting 1,200W LOGIC7 surround sound system along with dual view infotainment screen. A refined 4.4-litre TDV8 engine mated with 8-speed auto transmission powers the Range Rover Westminster.

The other two models, Range Rover TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography, are truly bold with extravagantly luxurious features. Both the vehicles have standard design with elegant styling on the exterior that depicts the powerful and aggressive appearance of the cars without taking away its classic finish from it.

The two versions feature 1,200W LOGIC7 surround sound system with 19 speakers and are equipped with illuminated treadplates. The cars are available in seven exterior finishes and wide variety of interior colour and trim combination options. The TDV8 Autobiography has the same 4.4-litre engine with 8-speed auto transmission, while the Supercharged Autobiography is powered by the5.0-litre LR-V8 petrol unit with 6-speed automatic gearbox.
