Mahindra XUV500 to See Launches Abroad

The first globally manufactured SUV ‘Mahindra XUV500’ is expected to make its presence felt in the Australian, European, Central and South American markets. Mahindra XUV500 has already been launched in South African market.

January 17, 2012: Mahindra XUV500 has received great response in India and now Mahindra is planning to launch its most appreciated SUV in some of the international markets in the near future. M&M has already launched the XUV500 in the South African market.

Now, the SUV maker is interested in launching this vehicle in Australia and Europe along with Central and South America within the forthcoming three months. The Chief Executive for International Operations at M&M, Mr. Pravin Shah said that the company has planned the launch of Mahindra XUV500 in the Australian market before the end of this fiscal year.

Considering these future plans for XUV500, M&M has already initiated to increase the capacity of its manufacturing facility at Chakan near Pune. The company will be reaching the production of around 4,000 units per month by June this year. It is trying hard to meet the domestic demand for the XUV500 along with preparing itself to meet the international demand too.
