Mahindra to launch Xylo Face-Lift on February 8, 2012
2012 Mahindra Xylo was earlier expected to hit the roads in January, 2012. However, the Xylo face-lift version is now set to go on sale from tomorrow.
February 7, 2012: The all new 2012 Mahindra Xylo face-lift will officially mark its presence in Indian automotive industry from February 8, 2012. According to media reports, Mahindra will launch face-lift version of its multi-utility vehicle Xylo tomorrow, after some delay in the launch that was expected in January, 2012.
The new Xylo has been revamped to look more aggressive from the front and carry plusher interior. The front of the new Xylo will have newly designed grille along with new headlamps and bumpers, similar to that of the Mahindra’s XUV500. On the inside, some new additional colour themes will make its entry along with the newly designed dashboard.
The Xylo will retain the same engine that was powering it before, but with some improvements in it with respect to power and fuel economy. So, the new Xylo is expected to be a well revamped vehicle at competitive price. Surprisingly, its rival Toyota Innova has been recently launched and Maruti Suzuki‘s MUV Ertiga is also expected to hit the Indian roads, increasing the competition level in the MUV segment.
