BMW Launches M5 at the Delhi Auto Expo
BMW M5 is a luxury sedan with the price tag of Rs. 95.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This vehicle will be available as a CBU across more than 20 dealerships in India.
January 7, 2012: Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW) has launched its luxury sports saloon M5 at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo for the Indian customers. This new sedan will be made available to the buyers as completely built-up unit (CBU) and is very costly at Rs. 95.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The order for the vehicle can be placed across more than 20 dealerships in India.
While speaking to the media,“The new BMW M5 is a high-performance athlete in a business suit. The fifth generation of the high-performance sedan is now available in India from today,” said Andreas Schaaf, BMW Group India President. The BMW M5 is powered by 4.4-litre V8 engine with M Twin Power Turbo technology that can produce peak power of 560bhp.
BMW also unveiled its concept car BMW Vision ConnectedDrive at the exposition. “The concept symbolises an advanced level of intelligent networking in the automobile world, which sets new benchmarks in convenience, infotainment and safety,” said Mr. Schaaf.
