December 30, 2011: The launch of the Mini brand in India will be a big attraction at the upcoming 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The Mini will be positioned as premium brand with each product’s price to be over 20 lakh. BMW has finally revealed that the separate pavilion of the Mini, at Hall No. 9 in Pragati Maidan, will mark the presence of its three-models namely Mini Hatch, Convertible and Countryman.
Mini Hatch with various configurations is available from the base model Mini One to the sporty Cooper models. The Mini also offers exciting range of convertibles. However, Mini’s new Countryman has been a new offering among the list of Mini Cooper cars. Basically, the Countryman is Mini’s off-road version. The countryman features raised ride height and all wheel drive system, albeit it is also available in two-wheel drive configurations.
Some of the other Mini models around the globe include Clubman and Coupe. There is no confirmation reports by BMW on which model will be available in India. So, it is clear that the company will bring the cars to India as CBUs. Therefore, the price of the models may be pretty much.
Apart from this, BMW stand will display the F10 BMW M5 sports sedan, limited edition BMW Individual 7-series Composition and BMW Vision ConnectedDrive concept.
